The cost is typically influenced by the size of the lawn, how easy it is to access, whether the ground is flat or sloped, and how often you’d like the grass cut (weekly or fortnightly). Regular maintenance usually works out better value than infrequent cuts, as longer grass takes more time to manage.

For regular lawn mowing, we normally work on an agreed maintenance plan so we can schedule visits reliably and deliver consistent results. This helps keep your lawn in good condition and ensures you have a guaranteed slot in our diary.

That said, we keep our agreements straightforward and fair. If your circumstances change, just speak to us and we’ll always aim to be flexible where possible.

If weather conditions aren’t suitable for mowing, we’ll simply reschedule. Cutting wet or waterlogged grass can damage the lawn, so we avoid mowing in poor conditions. In most cases, we’ll return as soon as the ground is suitable, often within the same week. If same week is not possible we may need to do a double visit following visit as growth would have been substantial during peak growing season and take longer to cut.

Yes. Lawn mowing itself does not involve chemicals, and our equipment is used with safety as a priority. We always recommend keeping pets indoors while mowing is taking place, and once the work is finished, the garden is safe to use as normal. If any additional treatments are discussed, we’ll explain exactly what’s involved and any precautions needed.

This depends on your preference and the condition of the lawn. In many cases, clippings can be finely mulched back into the grass, which helps return nutrients to the soil. If you’d prefer clippings to be removed, we can do this and dispose of them responsibly.

No. As long as we have clear access to the garden and any pets are secured, you don’t need to be present. Many of our customers are out at work during visits and return to a freshly cut lawn.

During the main growing season, regular weekly mowing is usually best for keeping grass healthy and looking tidy. Fortnightly mowing is also an option, although longer grass can take more time to cut and may not look as neat straight away.
